About Us

Hooves To Paws Pet Sitting was started in 2008 and is owned and operated by Tony and Teresa.  Both were born and raised on a fairly large ranches in San Benito County, just south of Gilroy, CA.  As children growing up on ranches, they always had some type of animal, whether it was goats, drop calves, horses, sheep, dogs, cats and anything else possible.  Because of Teresa's love for all animals, she continually had an assortment of animals. 

Teresa was an active member of the San Benito County 4-H program where she showed lambs for 9 1/2 years, was a county medalist, a county All Star and went on to be a County Resource Leader for 2 years.

Tony was an active member of Hollister High School FFA and High School Rodeo District 4.

They have experience for caring for a wide variety of animals with special interest in horses and livestock along with cats, dogs, birds and such to name a few.  The family currently owns two Queensland Heelers (aka Australian Cattle Dogs) and an AKC Black Lab.

Their love for animals continues to grow.  They never liked leaving their pets at home when they had to be gone for a day or longer.  Most of the time if they were not able to find a hotel that permitted them to take their three 4-legged kids (Shasta, Bear and Ty), with them, plus their little boy would continually to look for his puppy dogs, they would end up staying home.

So they  started Hooves To Paws Pet Sitting for that exact reason, they did not want other pet owners like them to feel the burden and stress of not being able to leave their home and pet without having their needs cared for.  They are committed to keeping all animals safe, happy and healthy in their own home while their owner is away.

Our company is based on the belief that our customers', pet owner and pets, needs are of the greatest importance. We are committed to meeting those needs.
